A type-driven poster exploring typography as language rather than decoration. Inspired by Paul Scher’s work for @publictheaterny, this piece imagines a fictional event promotion using scale, repetition, and distortion to communicate urgency, rhythm, and personality without relying on imagery.
The visual chaos is intentional, reflecting the energy of performance culture, pop excess, and the overwhelming feeling of live spectacle.
Created for a Typography & Language exhibition at @fitnyc, where the work was displayed and later viewed by Paul Scher during a special guest critique.
